· Bill Berkley, CEO, Tension Corporation A fourth generation leader of a 115 year old company with 12 manufacturing plants and 40 sales offices, Berkley is on the boards of directors for Kansas City Area Life Sciences Institute and Chairman of the Civic Council of Greater Kansas City, where he leads an initiative to spur life science collaboration in the Midwest.
· Dr Wayne Carter, CEO, Kansas City Area Life Sciences Institute Following his successful career in human pharmaceutical development and animal health nutrition, Carter was selected to lead the KC area’s life sciences institute as its president and CEO. Carter has lent his expertise to several initiatives in animal and human health in the region, including BioResearch Central and the Heartland Civic Collaborative’s Life Sciences Group.

The Digital Sandbox KC provides resources to support early stage commercialization processes including access to technology, business and market experts and funding for early stage market validation, prototyping and beta testing services
· Maria Meyers, Director, UMKC Innovation Center; Founder, U.S.SourceLink & KCSourceLink As director of the UMKC Innovation Center and founder of U.S.SourceLink and KCSourceLink, Meyers helps build entrepreneurial communities, from the ground up. · Dr Elizabeth Wenske-Mullinax, Director of Bioscience Workforce Development, Continuing Education and Professional Development, The University of Kansas Medical Center Wenske-Mullinax worked in the Boston biotechnology & pharmaceutical industry for 22 years prior to joining the university as the primary designer and instructor of the Introduction to BioManfacturing Course originally developed under the OneKC WIRED grant that continues to be delivered publically and onsite to individual companies.
· Matt Krehbiel, Lead Science Education Program Consultant, Kansas State Department of Education Working with the State Board of Education, Krehbiel leads Kansas’ efforts to enhance science education throughout the state of Kansas, addressing needs of the bioscience industry.
